Updated Fair Work Information Statement – July 2020

The updated version of the Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS), effective 1 July 2020, is now available.

The updated version can be downloaded here.

Employers have an obligation to provide every new employee a Fair Work Information Statement before, or as soon as possible after, the employee starts working for them.

The FWIS includes minimum pay rates for non-award employees as well as information on minimum rights and entitlements and protection from discrimination and other workplace action.

Employers should keep a record of the date that the FWIS is provided and whether it is handed personally to the employee, emailed or mailed.
