Updated Fair Work Information Statement - 2018

Update your processes and issue your new employees the revised Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS).

The updated version of the Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS), effective 1 July 2018, has been issued and can be downloaded from our website. The revised FWIS incorporates a number of changes and now includes minimum pay rates for non award employees as well as information on minimum rights and entitlements and protection from discrimination and other workplace action.

Just a reminder that under the National Employment Standards, employers must give every new employee a Fair Work Information Statement before, or as soon as possible after, the employee starts working for them.

Employers should keep a record of the date that the FWIS is provided and whether it is handed personally to the employee, emailed or mailed.
